Shopify Product Importer from Google Sheets
N8N
Project's Category
Intro
This one takes a product spreadsheet and turns it into live Shopify listings, checking first so nothing gets duplicated.
Problems
The client had hundreds of products sitting in a spreadsheet and no fast way to get them into Shopify without either duplicating existing listings or manually checking each one first.
Solutions
We built an n8n workflow that reads the product sheet, loops through each row, and queries Shopify to check if that product already exists before doing anything. New products get created with inventory tracking turned on and the starting quantity set, so nothing shows up in the store with an empty stock count. Products that already exist just get skipped instead of creating a duplicate.
Final Thoughts
The "check first" step is the one people skip when they're in a hurry, and it's exactly the step that saves a mess later. Re running this workflow on the same sheet twice won't double up the catalog.
