Article to Multi Platform Social Post Pipeline
Make
Project's Category
Intro
This one takes a URL sitting in a Google Sheet, scrapes and summarizes the article behind it, and turns that into a ready to post update on both Facebook and Instagram.
Problems
Turning a published article into social content meant reading it, writing a caption for each platform, and finding or making an image to go with it. Doing that consistently across two platforms for every article was more work than the writing itself.
Solutions
We built a Make scenario that reads new rows from a Google Sheet, scrapes the linked article, converts it to plain text, and summarizes it with OpenAI. From there it routes into two branches: one formats and generates an Instagram post with an OpenAI generated image, the other does the same for Facebook Pages. A Break module spaces the posts out instead of firing everything at once.
