This one watches a Google Sheet for new or changed rows, sends the data out to an API, and writes the result straight back into the sheet.
Problems
New rows showing up in a spreadsheet needed to be sent out to an external service and the result typed back in by hand. That kind of copy and paste work was slow and easy to mess up.
Solutions
We built a Make scenario that watches a Google Sheet for changes, filters for the rows that actually need action, sets up the request variables, and calls an HTTP API with that data. The response gets written straight back into the row it came from, and a second Google Sheets update keeps a matching log in sync.
Final Thoughts
Keeping the filter right after the trigger means the scenario only spends API calls on rows that actually changed in a way that matters, not every edit to the sheet.
