This one researches a topic with Perplexity AI, writes it up and generates a cover image with OpenAI, saves the finished post as a Google Doc, and logs it in a Google Sheet.
Problems
Writing a blog post that was actually well researched, not just AI guessing, meant pulling in real facts first and then writing around them. Doing that by hand for every post took real research and writing time.
Solutions
We built a Make scenario called Auto Blog that starts by asking Perplexity AI to research the topic with real, current information. That research feeds into OpenAI, which writes the post and generates a matching cover image with DALL-E. The finished post gets saved as a Google Doc, and a Google Sheet gets updated so the whole team can see what's been written and what's still pending.
Final Thoughts
Putting Perplexity's research ahead of the writing step means the post is grounded in real facts instead of whatever the writing model already assumes. The Google Sheet log means nobody has to open every doc to know what's done.
