Real Estate Lead to Appointment Automation with Follow Up Boss
Make
Project's Category
Intro
This one takes a new lead straight into Follow Up Boss, books the appointment, and keeps the buyer, seller, and lawyer sides all updated as the deal moves.
Problems
Every lead that came in had to be entered into Follow Up Boss by hand, then someone had to book the appointment, tag the lead correctly, and separately chase the buyer's side, the seller's side, and the lawyers for whatever paperwork was next. One slow step held up everyone else.
Solutions
We built a Make scenario that starts from a webhook, compiles the incoming data into a clean JSON payload, and routes it through the right path. It updates the lead's stage and tags in Follow Up Boss, sets the appointment variables and books the appointment, then routes again to keep the buyer side, seller side, and lawyer side documents and dealId, agent email, and subtype fields in sync. Once everything is set, it updates the lead's notes, sends a status email, and queues a text reminder.
Final Thoughts
Real estate deals fall apart in the gaps between people, not in any single step. Routing the buyer, seller, and lawyer sides through the same scenario means nobody is left waiting on an update that already happened somewhere else in the pipeline.
